Coffee Cup Reader is for entertainment and self-reflection only. A reading is creative AI-generated content, not a statement of fact or a promise about the future.

Using the beta

You may use Coffee Cup Reader for personal, lawful purposes. You must have the right to upload any image you submit. Do not try to bypass rate limits, disrupt the service, extract private data, or use the product to create abusive or illegal material.

No professional advice

Do not rely on Coffee Cup Reader for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, pregnancy, gambling, or other high-stakes decisions. Seek a qualified professional or emergency service when appropriate. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

AI safety and reporting

Readings are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Use the in-app “Report this reading” control to flag offensive, sexual, dangerous, deceptive, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unsafe output. Reports may be used to improve filtering and moderation.

Optional advertising

The Android app may offer an optional rewarded advertisement before a reading. The app identifies the advertisement before it starts and provides a choice to continue without watching. You are never required to click an advertisement.

AI output and availability

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or unsuitable. You are responsible for how you interpret or share it. The beta may change, pause, limit requests, or stop without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Legacy share links

The current interface does not create new share links. A previously created link contains only reading text and symbols, not the cup photo, and remains available to anyone who received it until it expires. We may remove links that are unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or technically harmful.

Ownership and feedback

You retain rights you have in your uploaded image. Coffee Cup Reader owns its product design, software, and branding. If you voluntarily send product feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and without warranties. Coffee Cup Reader is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the beta. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
